Integrative
College offers a unique approach to homeopathy as its emphasis is on teaching homeopathy as an integrative system of medicine. This is made possible by our combining sound homeopathic theory and practice with a detailed understanding of the

human energy system. This approach came about through the work of Paul Francis who originally trained as a Polarity Therapist (a system of healing that works directly with subtle energy in the body). In coming across homeopathy Paul was excited to find an excellent system of healing that works on an energetic level (there being no physical substance in the remedies). Yet homeopathy had little understanding of the energy principles underlying its use. Bringing energy theory to homeopathy opens up a whole new way of working, one with greater depth and breadth and with a sophisticated understanding of how homeopathy works.
After teaching energy theory to homeopaths as an adjunct on existing homeopathy trainings for many years across the country, Paul decided to set up the
Integrative
College . The aim being to offer a full training for those who wish to work in this way. Originally this was offered as practitioner development years for existing homeopaths and students. In 2001 the first practitioner course started. Our positive experience with these groups of students has convinced us (even more!) that this is the way forward for homeopathy.
