Integrative homeopathy takes sound homeopathic theory and practice as its starting point. A thorough case is taken, as in traditional homeopathy. The case is then analysed using the usual homeopathic principles, and the homeopathic treatment decided. What happens then is unique to the Integrative approach. The case is then re-examined from an unique understanding of the human energy system, including the chakras and five elements systems. This opens up completely new and profound insights into the person's case. This allows the treatment to be taken to much deeper levels, enabling a more effective and permanent cure.
There are of course already some homeopaths and colleges who incorporate understanding of the chakras and/or five elements into their work. However, the approach we use at the college is unique to the college and based on original materials and research. You won't find what we do anywhere else!
As well as opening up fascinating and unique insights into cases, the Integrative model also adds much to homeopathy itself. The understanding of the fundamental principles of energy the model provides allows homeopathic theory to be streamlined and de-mystified. The theory also provides a ‘meta-model’, a map that enables homeopathy to be intelligently and successfully integrated with other treatment methodologies. This may include: diet, nutrition, herbal medicine, flower essences, even bodywork - dependent on the practitioners knowledge, experience or interest. Although many homeopaths already incorporate other treatments into their practice, to varying degrees, the Integrative model provides a empowering, easy to grasp, and effective means of doing this. What emerges is a truly holistic way of prescribing.
